Pasi Saka Beach
Pasi Saka, Soft Sandy Beach - With calm, turquoise waters and soft, powdery sand, it’s no surprise when Aceh Jaya beaches are recognized as some of the best in the world i though. Perhaps the most famous is Pasi Saka Beach in Sampoiniet. Aceh Jaya’s shores are so beautiful, that most of the time pictures don’t do them any justice. You have to visit to witness just how stunning they actually are.

Pasi Saka, Soft Sandy Beach

Nothing more challenging than when we are visiting Aceh Jaya’s hidden treasure; Pasi Saka that offers enchanting natural landscape. This beach hidden behind Ujong Gla hill, Gampong Jeumpheuk, Kecamatan Sampoiniet, Aceh Jaya.

In addition to pristine, the grueling uphill track will pay off once white sand flanked by two stretches of savannah hills make this coastline hidden from the crowded place and relatively far from local local residential makes this beach is still fairly rare to visit.

Unspoiled natural beach tourism activities. This is what makes us curious to visit. We (Yulizar, Saiful, Dedy and me) start the tour from Banda Aceh town at 6am. It takes about two hours to reach the first check point, Jeumpheuek. Jeumpheuek is the last village before heading to Pasi Saka Beach. It is 117 km from Banda Aceh.

From Jeumpheuek, local residents told us there are two way to get Pasi Saka. You can choose 40 minutes trek at the jungle or 20 minutes walk along the shoreline and climb 7 meters rock. We choose trekking at the jungle at least. Further, we should walk, ranging from last checkpoint.

Access to Pasi Saka is little bit difficult. At the end of Gampong Jeumpheuk, we must pass through the path on the beach and then climb the Ujong Gla hill. The climb takes 40 minutes before finally met with the hidden beach.

After 40 minutes walk, we met the Gampong Mata le’s coast former, a coastal village that lost in 2004 slammed by tsunami. The journey to the Pasi Saka entered the hilly inclines. Ujong Gla hill is not too uphill indeed, but it served good scenery from the top.

At least 40 minutes passed until we see a field follows the coast on his left side. It is not Pasi Saka, you have to returning to climb a savanna, then line shows the sheer beauty hidden beaches.

White sand stretches on a gently sloping shoreline, gently overhanging rock by the ocean. There were big waves crashing and winds roaring. Pasi Saka, hidden beaches that hung on the lips of the Indian Ocean.

Such a unspoiled natural beauty potential of the Aceh Jaya. You will amazed standing along 1 km curved coastline. You can explore the coastline, rest under a tree shade, or capture the scenery using your camera.
Pasi Saka
I never see the sand like Pasi Saka beach’s sand. The sand grains exactly like granulated white sugar. Really really really soft.

I was intrigued by a large rock at the southwest corner. If you walk down the shoreline, you will stare at the rock resembles a coconut seedlings. It is similar to Indonesian Scout Movement Logo. That Pandanus Tectorius trees grew up in a piece of land that “captive” by rock. The stone piled on slopes.
